Polaris Neck Warmer

I purchased the Polaris neck warmer in preparation for the long commute to work and back that I'd be carrying out every day once my tendon injury had healed.

At the time of purchase, I was still unable to ride a mountain bike, but this item got its' trial by fire being used on my motor bike, which I was able to ride at that time.

The neck warmer is black in colour, with the Polaris logo at the bottom front. It also doubles up as a hat; in order to achieve this, its' drawstring can be tightened enough to close the gap at the top. It does look pretty strange as a hat though, and doesn't cover much more than the top of your head.

This neck warmer does what it says on the tin; it's pretty warm, and the convert-to-hat functionality is pretty good. All in all, definitely worth the £14.99, as it keeps me noticeably warmer even whilst riding at 40mph on my motorbike, and it also does a good job whilst commuting on my Fire Mountain, which I've done for 4 days at the time of writing, when it's been pretty cold outside. I'm confident that it'll do the job up on the hills, but be careful putting it on and taking it off; I'm sure I've stretched mine at least a little bit through not being careful enough with this.
