8.12.2006 - Update - more pictures added, this time of the components that were replaced in my recent Fire Mountain service

13.11.2006 - Update - new pictures of Fire Mountain complete with new seatpost / saddle installed (these were previously stolen after the bike was left outside my office over the weekend - doh), as well as some close-ups of the below items.

10.11.2006 - Here is a selection of new accessories purchased in preparation for being able to ride a bike again. These include a new seatpost, new riding gloves, and a new set of lights for the ride to-and-from work each day on my commuting bike, the Fire Mountain.

1. New seat post - this was the cheapest model I could find.. I've never been in the slightest concerned about the weight of my bike, so wasn't worried about it adding to the weight, and I wasn't going to buy an expensive one for my commuting bike, so a £14.99 special it was!

2. These are my new gloves - some Altura Altitudes' - if the marketing schpiel is to be believed, they're wind-proof, waterproof *and* breathable! Should be cool.

3. Bike lights for commuting - these are by Cateye, and are supposed to be pretty recent models. Very bright, and they come with batteries too.. bargain.

4. Fire Mountain, complete with new saddle / seat post installed.

5. A close-up of my new front light.

6. Seatpost / saddle prior to installation on the bike.
