GALLERY --> Telscombe Cliffs - 03.2006

This ride went from my house in West-Hove, in to Brighton via the route that I normally take to get to work, and then to Telscombe Cliffs along the coastline.

This wasn't a particularly fun ride; the main purpose of it was to get some extra out-of-the-saddle riding time under my belt, and as there are lots of hills en-route, I thought this would be a great ride to do.

1. This is looking back at the East arm of Brighton Marina from the East.

2. This is a view from the same spot, of Roedean School, the posh girl-only private school that sits conspicuously on the coastline.

3. This is a view towards St. Dunstans, a home for the blind. The edge of a cliff is probably not the best place for this ; )

4. A view down to the rockpools at the base of the cliff.

5. Looking back in the direction of the Marina from the top of the first hill out of Saltdean.

6. View on to the beach at Saltdean.

7. Looking towards Telscombe Cliffs from Saltdean.

8. More looking at the cliffs, from further along.

9. Monument at the top of a beast of a hill coming in to Telscombe Cliffs. This hill is a mission to ride up out of the saddle all the way.

10. From the top of the hill, again, looking East.

11. On the way back now, first stetch, this hill!!

12. Looking down in to Brighton Marina.

13. Random image of someone kite surfing behind the King Alfred leisure centre.
