I'm dismayed to say that I'm relying on the ride data stored in my GPS to recall the riding I've done recently. I've been pretty busy as usual, so the blog's the first thing to get neglected.
Did plan a ride with Will and his mate Ross last Saturday, but it started raining as I started walking to the garage to get my bike - I promptly went back in ; )
Riding in the rain would've resulted in a cold, which would have stopped me going to the gym for a week - the gym won out.
Got home from work today after bypassing the pub - feeling slightly ill - and decided that I should be making the most of the bank holiday. So I went for a quick burn around the Downs Link Trail loop - is there anything better than riding on the hills on a warm Summers' evening? Not much, me thinks.
Ride stats were:
- Distance: 7.89 miles
- Average Speed: 10.4mph
- Max Speed: 34.6mph
A really good ride; my bike is really in need of that first service now though - she's booked in at Freedom next Tuesday.
