Quick MTB riding update..

OK, this post is mainly to stop the site looking stale; still not really done any major mountain bike rides that were write-up worthy (been working stupid amounts of hours over recent weekends), although this weekend did involve some riding; I had to ride to work on Saturday, the result of an accidental remote shut down of a server at work (oops - he he!) - I took the "scenic" route to do this, again riding up Snakey Hill out of the saddle (not quite a favourite pastime but getting there), and down Dyke Road in to Brighton to work.

After spending only two hours in the office getting a few other things sorted (it's normally a lot more than that!), I ventured out on the bike, originally meaning to go to Stamner Park.. something made me turn back though, so instead I did a ride-out-of-the-saddle up Elm Grove in Brighton instead (made it about 3/4 of the way - really needed a drink, and I'd neglected to get any money out of the cashpoint).

After I'd got back in to town, I rode home my normal route, riding up the first part of Dyke Road up to the Childrens hospital, out of the saddle, then home.

Despite a drinking session on Saturday night, on Sunday T managed to tempt me down to the beach in Lancing for a sunbathing session (not the best course of action after a night on the voddy but hey..). I managed to get to Lancing in about 25 minutes from mine, which I was pretty impressed with. After the beach I went to my cousins, who also lives in Lancing, and stayed there for the afternoon, burning off the two burgers I ate there by riding home as fast as I could when I finally left, at about 8:50 (potential for racing sunset!).

I'm aiming to get a lot more riding done in the next few weeks, so the site should be updated accordingly.
